Channel seed, placed field by field.

Indiana Specialty Group is an independent Channel SeedPro dealership serving Boone, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, and Warren counties. We work through the corn and soybean options with you, explain what we'd place on your ground, and stay involved through the season.

Channel brings the genetics. We match them to your fields.

Channel brings Bayer genetics to the seed decision. A national lineup still has to be matched to a farm it has never seen. We pick from it for west-central Indiana ground, place it field by field, and put the reason and the limits beside every choice.

What we consider for each crop.

Mature corn with grain bins in the distance

Channel corn seed

We start with relative maturity for your planting and harvest window, then look at agronomic characteristics, trait needs, field history, and how each hybrid fits with the rest of your corn acres.

Green soybean pods with three distinct bean bulges on the plant

Channel soybean seed

We match maturity and trait platform to the field, then work through soil and drainage fit, standability, and the disease history on that ground.

New options for your next seed plan.

We plan to offer Channel Preceon corn for 2027 and Vyconic soybeans for 2028. We’ll work through field fit with you and confirm the local lineup, supply, and requirements before ordering.

Preceon™ Short Corn

Bayer’s Preceon Smart Corn System pairs shorter corn with field data and agronomic support. Better standability, more sprayer clearance, and easier spraying later in the season are reasons to consider it. Short stature does not eliminate storm damage. We’ll review your equipment and field conditions to see where that access could help.

Vyconic™ soybeans

Vyconic brings five herbicide tolerances to the soybean decision. We’ll discuss the variety and field fit, the current labeled herbicide options, and what to confirm with your grain buyer before committing acres.
